Really glad you asked. The simple answer is because I’m invested emotionally in your wedding from up to 8 months prior to the day. Far from arriving with clipboard in hand and pre-written timeline ready to go, this service is about collaboration: helping you to bring forth and finesse your ideas, make sure each element is packed full of as much meaning as possible, and that you’re on the right track with the logistical and administrative side of things. Then, at the 6-week point I’ll take over the reins more fully, having gained a real insight into your values and how this celebration needs to feel as well as how it needs to look.

With an 8-month timeline for this service, it’s likely that you will have begun working on your dream team of destination wedding suppliers. However, finding the perfect people to bring your wedding to life with the right values as well as the right style is vital, and I am always very happy to recommend talented experts across the world should you need it, championing local vendors wherever possible.
Please note that all supplier liaison, booking and management will be your responsibility until that 6 week mark, where I’ll come on board more fully and you can hand everything over to me. Even at this final stage, the contractual agreements will remain with you, and you will be responsible for all payments to your suppliers. This keeps things clean, simple and streamlined for all concerned.

Wedding design is an intense and many-layered process. With this service, I am on hand to offer advice on our consultation calls, but will not be able to provide a full and in-depth design brief, moodboard or lookbook. This is about guiding you and your ideas, and giving expert advice to help flesh them out and polish them ‘til they gleam!
